Current Music: REM Losing my religion
I first stumbled across Sean Prophet's Black Sun Journal several years ago when I was in the throes of separating from my church. I found his observations keen, but I couldn't wrap my head around how he could have been brought up as a son of Mark and Elizabeth Clare Prophet, the leaders of the church I had loved, and now claim to be an atheist.
It's been a few years now since I've left the church and have since started this journal. I had nearly forgotten about his web site, so I checked it out again and found it much more relevant than I had first remembered. He has been starting to write about his experiences growing up within his family's church. So, without further ado, I welcome
blacksunjournal as a syndicated site to LiveJournal and to the friend's page of this journal.
